LiberTrad® is a cooperative envisioned, designed, orchestrated and managed by an international group of professional translators who have decided to radically change the way we approach our profession and the importance of transmitting messages from one language to another language, to other languages, to other worlds... and to other ways of understanding the world.
At LiberTrad®, we believe that mechanical translation will never be faithful to its source nor to the purpose of conveying specific ideas. The time has come to leave the responsibility of translation to professionals, to those who genuinely love the delicate task of carrying a message to the ears of another culture.

Luz’s passion for languages (and mainly her native Spanish) has always shaped her life: she holds a BA in Translation (English, French, and Portuguese into Spanish), and an MD in Applied Linguistics. With over 20 years of experience in the translation industry, Luz has worked across roles, countries, and tools. Her choice was memoQ since 2009, and she is a proud Technical Solution Specialist since 2022. In 2013, she moved to France for good, and she is raising two French-Mexican boys who are fully bilingual (of course!). But her work as a professional, mother, wife, and housekeeper was not enough, so she also has a 51-kilo Carpathian shepherd named Furris!

Cinthia is a certified English-Spanish translator, reviewer, and proofreader specialized in IT and marketing content. For almost ten years now, she has been fully dedicated to translation, a profession she is passionate about, and which allows her to make a living doing what she loves: breaking texts down, understanding concepts, conveying meaning, and building bridges between cultures.
