Luz’s passion for languages (and mainly her native Spanish) has always shaped her life: she holds a BA in Translation (English, French, and Portuguese into Spanish), and an MA in Applied Linguistics. With over 20 years of experience in the translation industry, Luz has worked across roles, countries, and tools. In 2009, she chose memoQ as her long‑term companion, and from 2022 to 2026 she proudly served as a Solution Engineer for the company. In 2013, she moved to France for good, and she is raising two French-Mexican boys who are fully bilingual (of course!). But her work as a professional, mother, wife, and housekeeper was not enough, so she also has a 52-kilo Carpathian shepherd named Furris!

Cinthia is a certified English-Spanish translator, reviewer, and proofreader specialized in IT and marketing content. For almost ten years now, she has been fully dedicated to translation, a profession she is passionate about, and which allows her to make a living doing what she loves: breaking texts down, understanding concepts, conveying meaning, and building bridges between cultures. Even if Spanish is her native language, she is always eager to learn more about it, and she strives daily to preserve and defend it. She enjoys meeting people along the way with whom she can share her love for languages.

Rocío is a translator and reviewer located in Spain, where she moved in 2023 to expand her horizons. She has been working in IT and marketing content since she was 22 years old. Over the years, she has specialized in proofreading and content review, and now she is the Language Specialist for US Spanish for a global financial services company, where she’s in charge of quality assessment processes and reviews. Her love for translation and culture exchange keeps growing as she continues to work with people who share her passion and from whom there are always lessons to be learned.

Sofía is a certified English-Spanish translator and reviewer. With seven years of experience, she has filled different positions across different subjects. She is passionate about her profession because it challenges her to grow every day. Conveying messages and intentions into another language requires making choices, word after word. She loves learning new things with every project: each text is an opportunity to acquire knowledge that enriches not only the target audience, but also the translator. She keeps improving her translation skills to provide the most accurate and polished texts possible to her clients, so they can reach the Spanish-speaking audience successfully.
